The Nike AJ1 Ambush is a collaborative re-imagination of the original Nike Dunk, blending Japanese street and car culture with Nike’s iconic silhouette. Created in collaboration with Tokyo-based fashion label AMBUSH, the Ambush Black boasts a daring black upper with a hint of reflective 3M detailing, contrasted by red accents and a black outsole.
AMBUSH makes its second appearance on Nike’s iconic Dunk High silhouette as the Nike Dunk High Ambush Black. This sleek, black offering is an update of the Tokyo-based label’s original Nike Dunk High collaboration from 2003, which was also black. The shoe features a synthetic canvas upper with a mix of textures and an abstract pattern on the toe box.
The Nike Dunk High Ambush Black offers a traditional color blocking with exaggerated Swoosh that extends beyond the heel. The shoe is outfitted in black and white leather. Nike has also utilized a textured black suede throughout the shoe and on the eyestays. As always, you will notice waxed laces, a padded tongue, and the iconic Nike Dunk sole unit.
